Introducing Julia Grainger - Director & Founder
Julia is a dog lover, a passionate advocate of responsible dog ownership and pure-breed dogs.
Julia’s dedication to the dog world led her to depart her corporate career in 2009 to establish her own business, Whitby Grainger.
Julia also pursued her interests in dog grooming, canine nutrition and training until she commenced with the Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria in 2011.
Julia held the position of Event Manager – Dogs with the Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria (RASV) between 2011 to 2015.
During this time, Julia was responsible for the delivery and ongoing development of the Royal Melbourne Championship Dog Show and created an extensive canine entertainment program both of which were delivered during the Royal Melbourne Show.
As a result of her work and contribution to the dog industry, Julia possesses an extensive network of contacts throughout the dog world, nationally and internationally.
Julia's network of contacts include industry bodies; breed and discipline clubs; individual exhibitors; charitable organisations; entertainment and talent; media contacts and celebrities.
Julia possesses a knowledge of all ANKC and AFA recognized disciplines and has a network of contacts who participate in each and every discipline, providing the ability to create entertaining, engaging interactive and educational entertainment programs that are unique and fresh.
Julia is regularly engaged by organisations seeking animal content that is both entertaining, informative and delivered in a manner that is safe for participating animals and is contracted to provide advise to some of Australia's largest and most influential canine bodies.
Julia enjoyed 18 months as a Producer, Content Adviser and Presenter currently with Yappy Hour TV which aired nationally on Ch31 and Foxtel.
Julia is the Executive Producer for 'Animal Farm' a radio segment that is aired regularly on a Saturday morning on 1377 3MP Richard Stockman's Big Brunch as well as being a regular interview guest with the ABC819 where she presents a range of topics pertaining to pure-breed dogs, responsible canine ownership and canine activities.
